Enjoy Some Cool AC Before Summer’s Upon Us
Even though May temperatures are still mild and the humidity has been low, we all know that that famous, swampy, sticky, humid, and scorching heat will be back before you know it. Test it now instead of waiting until the last minute, only to discover that your car’s AC is blowing hot or not working. Also, don’t wait until the last minute, especially before heading to work, the park, or to catch your favorite team or concert, and bake in the heat.
Before you hit the road and get hot underneath the collar, book an appointment to have your AC checked for just $29.99. We’ll check your AC system controls, freon levels, and filters. Then, let’s make sure your car’s AC is ready to go. We’ll check to see if you are low on coolant, have a leak, or have another AC-related issue. If you do, we’ll let you know in plain language.
If you want your AC to run at peak performance and stay chilled throughout the scorching St. Louis summers, we offer a $94.99 AC service and check. This AC servicer includes an AC system temperature and pressure check, leak detection analysis, and a system evacuation and recharging. We’re also including up to one pound of freon with this service. Additional freon costs more, but with Cyclone Car Care, you always know you’re saving money and getting the best price.
How do you know if you have an AC issue or are low on freon?
Blowing Hot. When your AC blows warm or hot air, even on its lowest setting, it’s almost always a sign that you’re low on freon, the coolant that “chills” the air.
Noise. If you hear hissing or gurgling sounds, it could indicate a refrigerant leak. We can also detect and fix that issue.
AC Clutch Won’t Engage. If you notice that your system doesn’t kick in when you turn it on, that could mean it doesn’t have enough freon to pressurize the system. That, too, is something we can spot and fix.
Ice. Ice may appear on the lines or evaporator coils. This is a sign that your system is not working efficiently, almost always due to low freon levels.
